About Jade
Jade attended the College of William and Mary, and after a short stint in online marketing, graduated from the French Culinary Institute in 2009. She externed at Jean-Georges, then worked at Marea and was the pastry chef at Tremont.
She was as a contributing editor at Woman's Day magazine from 2015 to 2019, where she helped test and develop recipes and assisted the food team on photo and video shoots. From 2015 to 2020, and starting again in 2024, she was a recipe tester/developer for Melissa Clark, New York Times food columnist.
From 2019 to 2024, she and Anna Helm Baxter created and ran Poppikit, a cake and baking kit company teaching online decorating classes.
Previous clients include Good Housekeeping, Barilla, and the New York Times - including recipe development and video food styling for Melissa Clark’s James Beard Award-winning piece for the New York Times, The New Essentials of French Cooking.
Jade lives with her family in Brooklyn.
